Been away from the blog for a few days.

It’s been quite a busy week and now I am getting sick.

Which I am not allowed to do right now.

It just needs to hold off until after Christmas.

Please?

Bikes or Bust has officially begun!

I will be spending the next few days with the staff here at FreedomChurch raising over 250 bikes for kids who are less fortunate than we are. We are going up, in shifts, atop a 50 foot lift for the next 50 hours. It is going to be cold and possibly rainy (please pray that it won’t!) but we are making an effort to make a statement in the city of Acworth for God.

Here are a few things that you can expect to see:

  • You can come purchase a bike for either $35/$55 bucks. Sacrifice a Christmas present to allow someone else to have Christmas.
  • We will be having live feed/updates from our website:: http://www.bikesorbust.net
  • Santa is here now and will be back later this week!
  • We have some camels and other sweet animals coming to make a visit this in the next few days.
  • Local school chorus’s will be doing performances this week.
  • A dance team is coming out tomorrow night!
  • We will have SNOW. Yes, snow in Georgia.

Be sure to keep your self updated at our website and come purchase a bike!

Had the opportunity to head up to NewSpring today. You can find out why here.

Every time we head up there God blows be away with the stuff that He is doing there. It’s amazing to see a church with a staff that is unbelievably passionate for what God is doing and what God will do in their church and the city(s) they are in. NewSpring is an unbeilvable place and if you are in Anderson, Greenville or Florence you need to check this place out!

Had the priviledge of hanging out with the student pastors today as well.

What God is doing through Brad and Davey is phenomenal. Their student ministry is bangin’ up there and I’m excited to go check it out sometime in 2009.

I’m excited for what God is doing up at NewSpring Church and I’m excited about what God is going to do here at Freedom. Be prepared!

Our staff at Freedom are headed up to Newspring today to hang out with the staff up there as we as a few other churches from around the country.

We get to sit through their staff meeting with Perry as well as get some question and answer time with a lot of their staff members.

I’m extremely pumped about meeting with Brad Cooper, one of the student pastors at Newspring. They have a phenomenal student ministry up there and it will be extremely exciting being able to learn from one of the best student pastors in the United States. Hopefully I will be able to bring a lot back here to Generation as we get ready to kick off the new year!

It’s going to be a long but exciting day!

Final are OVER!

Great success!

This has been one of the hardest semesters that I have ever had but thankfully all of that is behind me now.

Hopefully my grades turn out decently well.

I think I got a total of 10 hours of sleep during all of these finals.

Sleeping in for the next few days will be fantastic.
