With that said….here is the news…

We’ve done a lot of praying, a lot of talking and discussing and have come to this conclusion. We feel that God is leading us to not doing Reveal again next year. God has all of the people involved with Reveal involved with a ton of different ministries between our churches and other organizations.

I believe that we should be excellent in everything that we do. Especially when it comes to glorifying God. Why would we settle for less?

Since we are all involved in other churches, organizations, and school, we cannot put forth the correct amount of energy into making Reveal happen next year.

With that said, I want to thank all of you that helped make Reveal a success. From all of the people that helped plan it as well as all of the volunteers and people that attended. I know that Reveal helped change lives, but don’t let that changed life stay with Reveal. God is alive everywhere and wants to continue to use YOU to do amazing things.

All of YOU have such a precise and divine plan that God has already set forth, so my prayer is that YOU continue to pursue after God and his plan for your life. Continue to pursue Him daily and continue to stretch yourselves to conform to His image. His plans are far greater than ours and we can only be obedient to what God has in store for us.

So thanks to everyone who helped make Reveal a success. I love you all!

We are currently in the process of getting Reveal Ministries a non-profit organization and it is A LOT more work than you would expect, but Michael is doing an EXCELLENT job in getting us moving in the right direction as well as moving forward.

With that said…

We are currently looking for a lawyer than can help us speed up the process in achieving non-profit status. God has some big plans that he has laid on our hearts for next years event but before we can pursue those we have to be incorporated, non-profit, and financially moving forward.

If you know of anybody that can help us out in any capacity please let me know.

My hinge that connects my screen of my laptop to the base decided that it did not want to do its job anymore today, and thus my laptop is now not connected on the right side (excpet for a few wires). Extremely frustrating that this happened and now I must send it back to HP and get them to fix it.

Austin, who sent his HP back a while ago, took a month+ to get his back. I pray that this does not happen to me because I can’t function between FreedomChurch, FreedomGeneration, Reveal, and school without a laptop.

Many dreary days ahead…

Haven’t been too good about the blog lately because I have been so busy. Here is an update about what is going on:

1. Headed to UGA tomorrow to watch the game. Pretty excited to go watch my team win.

2. Jesus series starts in 2 weeks! This is going to be Freedom’s best series to date!

3. We are in the process of getting Reveal as a non-profit, 501c(3) organization and it is quite a strenuous process. Please be praying for Reveal and our team as we dive into this!

4. FreedomGeneration kicks off in 3 weeks (September 21st)! If you are in middle school/high school and are interested in winning $1000 and/or a Nintendo Wii, then you better be there!

God did some pretty amazing things at Reveal ‘08. If you were not there, you missed an amazing encounter with God. Here are some recaps of what happened:

1. Elite completely rocked (or rather bumped) the house. Yes, they were rappers.

2. Although Fay was supposed to hit us and make it rain, God held off the rain all day (except for about 10 minutes of drizzle) but right as we ended, the rain started to come.

3.God is AWESOME!

4. HE IS HERE = GOD IS HERE = LOVE IS HERE!

5. Chris Coleman and Six Piece brought an intense end to the night with an awesome worship set!

6. A girl on crutches got healed by a few friends of mine and started walking around on her own. It was quite a phenomenal site.

7. We had over 600 people attend Reveal ‘08! – I’m pumped for next years event!

8. God is AWESOME!

9. The Rise of Science gave an awesome opener to an awesome event!

10. Ocean Is Theory still jumped around on a slippery stage (when it started to drizzle) and still rocked it out!

11. It was hilarious watching kids do “snap yo fingas!” when Elite was on the stage.

12. I got to witness over 600 people lifting there hands, lives, and hearts to Christ! Amazing stuff!

Sorry for not posting, it’s been a hectic week as we have been preparing for Reveal ‘08, which is actually tonight!

We are extremely pumped about what God is going to do and what God has been doing this week and this past year in the life of Reveal. God is going to show up HUGE tonight and we are preparing ourselves to encounter HIM!

I hope to see you there, but if not, please be praying for us and all of the students that will be attending Reveal ‘08. We are ready for God to rock our worlds and are praying that He will move in a might way!

Reveal ‘08 is set to be this Saturday, August 23, at 4:00PM at Hobgood Park Amphitheatre. As of right now, Tropical Storm Fay is set to make a run through the southeastern United States starting today in Florida and not ending through Georgia until next Tuesday. The forcast is giving us a 30% chance of ran during the day and a 60% chance of rain for Saturday.

With all of this said we ask for YOU to join in with us as we pray for this Saturday. Although it is not looking promising, we know the One who is in control of the weather, and we can only pray to Him to not simply just ask for no rain but for His desires to be full-filled and for us to rest assured in the fact that we know that God has everything in control.

Please pray for us this week as we are getting ready for Reveal ‘08.

I love the message behind the song God of this City because it fires me up about how God is about to completely dominate my city as well as yours! Big things are coming within the next few months in my life between FreedomChurch and Reveal and God is about to unleash himself in amazing ways and I’m so ready to experience it. Here is a schedule for what is going down:

August 17 – FreedomChurch is going to explode as we are praying for 350! Join in with us!

August 22 – Pray As One at Hobgood Park! Join in on the movement!

August 23 – Reveal is held at Hobgood Park in Woodstock, GA and God is going to penetrate so many hearts through this event as students are challenged to step out in faith.

August 24 – FreedomGroups starts at FreedomChurch and we are about to connect as a church in beautiful ways.

August 25- Reveal Ministries will be going into effect to not only dominate this city but many other cities, churches, and ministries. Check back for more info on this!

September 21 – FreedomGeneration kicks off and we are going to dominate the city of Acworth for the Glory of God!

What is God doing in your life and your city?

…kicking my butt right now. It’s a good stress/worry/anxiousness, but it is not very fun to deal with.

Much prayers please as August is going to be a HUGE MONTH in my life between what God is going to do at Freedom and with Reveal. I just hope that my seat belt is fastened very tight.
