Made a huge decision today.

I’m hoping that it was worth it.

Well I think it was worth it.

I’m holding on to what Pastor JR said this past weekend.

Malachi 3:8-10

“8 Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. “But you ask, ‘How do we rob you?’ “In tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a curse—the whole nation of you—because you are robbing me. 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”

Why?

Because there are so many questions and so little answers.

It’s simple. Just fill in the blank with the most appropriate answer that relates to you. Maybe do a little soul searching while you are at it. I hear it really helps.

I have one thing to say to everyone.

If you missed Generation last night then you missed the best night at Generation yet!

Pastor JR spoke last night and out of the 25 students that were there 11 got saved! God was moving in tremendous ways last night and I am excited to see these students grow in their faith.

We are only in the beginning stages of Generation and kids lives are already being transformed.

I have had a small obsession with this song over the past few days. Something about the first verse and the authenticty of the words makes this song extremely powerful.

If you missed my last post about this, then check it out to get a little bit more detail on what was going on.

But last night was absolutely phenomenal!

We usually have about 10-12 people in our college small group on Wednesday nights. Last night we had 24 people! God is moving and working in phenomenal ways through Freedom and the people involved.

Last night we talked and we worshipped.  When we got done talking about financial ways and how we can obtain financial freedom through the power of the Christ and what the Bible teaches, we broke out an acoustic guitar and a djembe and just worshipped our God.

We blended old songs and new songs.

We sang loud

We let down our pride.

We opened our hearts.

It was a phenomenal experience and I am looking forward to the next night of worship!

Tomorrow I get to speak at Etowah’s First Priority.

I’m pretty excited about this for a couple of reasons.

1. I graduated from there, so it will be nice to go check out how the old school is doing.

2. I LOVE talking to teenagers about God. It fires me up every time I get the opportunity to do so.

3. I have a lot to say to these students. I’m not really sure why, but I think that God has laid it on my heart to relay a very important message to all of them.

So if you go to Etowah High School be sure to come say hi tomorrow morning. I’ll be the ridiculously tired looking guy with a cup of starbucks.

We have small group in our dorm every Wednesday night for college students.

About 2 months back we decided that we were going to do small group and then do a small worship gathering afterwards.

To pray.

To meditate.

To repent.

To give thanks.

To break down our pride.

To shake our school’s foundations.

To shake our foundations.

It was just an acoustic guitar and about 10 people crammed in the living area of our dorm. People sang loud and poured out their hearts. We even had someone down the hall and stand outside our dorm for about 15 minutes hearing us sing loud to our God.

Tonight we are doing it again.

We are preparing our hearts for worship and this time we will probably have about 20 people crammed in the dorm. We thought last time was packed, tonight will be even better.

It will be louder.

It will be bigger.

We will worship.

With all of our being.

To glorify God.

Joe Sangl came  to Freedom this weekend and completely rocked the house.

We are in the middle of our Debtfreeacworth.com series and Joe Sangl came in and did a saturday financial class and spoke iin service today. He gave everyone great tips on how to get out of debt and how to stay out of debt. You can check out his story and resources here.

I’m not even in debt and he motivated me to get out of it. Well I guess stay out of it….
